utilizing a day at home

I am tired of being sick... For the past few days, I have been sufferring from cold which escalated into fever. just coughing, and sneezing... and the general feeling of gloom... I cant take this anymore...

However, staying at home wasnt that bad today. I was able to complete the download of the windows 7 rc1 on a GPRS/EDGE connection... (that definitely qualifies as a height of patience award) and I also installed it as a virtual machine. From the first look, doesnt seem as if it is too great. The main difference I could see till now was the task bar, and one good thing was the ability to automatically change wallpapers at preset intervals... but other than that, it borrows too much from the HATED vista instead of the loved XP to appeal to me. I am yet to get into it fully but hopefully this version turns out to true to all the hype surrounding the release. Otherwise I am sticking to XP... specially as I have been able to discover a number of free apps which have really made XP a wonder.

So basically, I would say that this was a sick day relatively well spent...

I wonder... what kind people blog... what kind of people want others to take interest in what they write...



is it ppl who think too highly of themselves? is it ppl who want some attention? or is just some ppl who want to connect? who find themselves, at the end of the day, alone. No matter how much of a crowd they find themselves in, no matter how many people they gather around themselves, at the end of the day, when they are done with all the daily tasks and are alone in bed, they still find themselves alone..
