How does one say goodbye to a person who has been part of your life for the past 4 years and odd months? How does one say goodbye to a person who has been in your each and every thought for the past 4 years and odd months?
More importantly how does one say goodbye to a person who does not want to go away?
Despite a relationship running its course and coming to a head, there are people who find it hard to accept the end and give it everything to keep it going. They don't realize that its exactly this that hastens the end. A relationship which has ended should be let go. Accepted as finished, so that one retains the good memories from it rather than the pain that was generated at the end in the last ditch attempt to save it.
But again, how does one say goodbye to a person who is not willing to accept the end of the relationship?
Don't look for the answer to this question on this blog. I am myself searching for the answer. Even Google couldn't come up with one. :(
